From Kosova with love! I

This is the first time I am (really) posting since I left for the Balkans. Now I am back in the States, but I made sure to take lots of pics while I was there. Here are some pictures from a hiking trip in Kosova. We hiked along the stream of a small tributary to the river Lepenc - which in turn is a tributary to Vardar - a few miles near the Macedonian border. For those of you that don't know, the water divide of the Balkans is in Kosova. Thus, Kosova's rivers flow into three different seas. And one river, Nerodimka, splits in two to go both north and south to the Black and Aegean seas, the only case of such 'bifurcation' in the world. The mountain seen in the picture is Sharr, which divides Kosova and Macedonia. And, the peak is called Lybeten.

I must say the hike was accompanied by a barbecue, and a couple of Skopsko's :)
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
