Borat a gipsy?!

I just bought the album "Stereophonic Musical Listenings That Have Been Origin in Moving Film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan." It is a masterpiece. If you exclude the creations of Sacha Baron Cohen and his brother Erran, the album might as well be called "The Essential Guide to Stereophonic Gipsy Music from the Glorious Nation of the Balkans." It makes you question Borat's ethnicity.

Everyone should buy this album, not because of the obnoxiousness of the Kazakh reporter, but because it is a great compilation of Gipsy music.

Actually Borat is a Jew, the name Cohen is a common German-Jewish form of the Hebrew name 'Kahana' the name of the priestly tribe.

He's definately NOT living up to that heritage!

Yeah there's a lot of Serbian Gypsy brass in the movie. It doesn't sound the least bit like REAL Kazakh music. I posted some real Kazakh music, just for kicks. I don't have a problem with the music in the film as such, just that I don't like it being associated with ignorance like in that film.

the Cohens were also poets, I think, that's where the talent comes from I guess. I saw the Kazakh stuff that you posted. I think Gipsy music will benefit from this just as much as Kazakhstan.
